Fosso della Mola

We are in the Valle del Fiume Salto, nearby Balzi di Grotti, a famous area for its many cliffs full of climbing routes.
Fosso della Mola owes its name to the remains of an old mill that you meet right at the beginning of the itinerary.
The route begins in the woods, sections with shallow water alternate with deep pools where it is necessary to dive and the vegetation becomes more and more luxuriant and dense.
Then, almost suddenly, the gorge narrows and becomes more vertical, the first waterfalls begin (the highest is 12 meters), the tobbogan and small jumps. Always surrounded by waterfalls and rivulets of water, the gorge continues downhill in a truly evocative environment.
To make this itinerary even more exciting, almost unique, there is a fun passage in a cave to be descended with a rope and finally a small siphon to be overcome while immersed in a pool of crystal clear water!

In the canyon it is not possible to bring anything other than the necessary equipment, everything that is brought will surely come out wet.
We recommend having a good breakfast in the morning, there is a bar at the meeting point.
It is possible to bring a bottle of water (small) and one or more energy bars.
You can bring a packed lunch to leave in the car and eat at the end of the tour.
