Canyoning Forra di Prodo

If you’re seeking an unforgettable adventure in the green heart of Italy, you can’t miss the Forra di Prodo, a hidden canyon nestled among the Umbrian hills, just 20 km from Orvieto.
It promises strong emotions and breathtaking landscapes!
After donning neoprene wetsuits and all the necessary gear at the former elementary school premises, we’re ready for adventure!
Just a five-minute walk leads us to the canyon’s entrance, right beneath the splendid castle.
The excitement begins with a refreshing plunge, followed by a spectacular 16-meter waterfall—the highest of them all.
From here on, it’s a thrilling sequence of jumps, dives, rope descents, tobogan and natural pools to swim through in the crystal-clear waters of the stream.
As we venture deeper into the heart of the canyon, the incredible rock walls gradually narrow, allowing us to proceed single-file. More jumps, slides, and waterfalls await—guaranteed fun all the way!

 WHAT TO BRING:
– swimsuit
– a T‑shirt (preferably a thermal one) or a long‑sleeve thermal top during the colder months
– hiking boots or sneakers (no diving shoes or sandals)
– towel or bathrobe
– a complete change of clothes, including shoes, to be left in the car
– one or more plastic bags to put wet clothes and shoes

 RECOMMENDED BRING:
– a small bottle of water (1/2 liter)
– energy bars
