Canyoning Forra Rocca Gelli

This canyon is located in the territory of Piedipaterno, a beautiful medieval village perched on the green hills of the Valnerina, in the province of Perugia.
After parking in a clearing just a few dozen meters from the main road and distributing the equipment, we take an easy trail that quickly leads to the entrance of the canyon.
The Rocca Gelli Canyon offers an exciting itinerary: nestled between high limestone walls, it features a continuous sequence of waterfalls and fun natural slides that flow into small water-filled pools.
What makes the Rocca Gelli Canyon special is its relatively short length, making it ideal for those who want to try this activity for the first time, including younger participants, without the concern of excessive fatigue.

👉 What to bring:

☑️ Hiking boots or sneakers (no diving shoes or sandals)

☑️ A complete change of clothes, including shoes, to be left in the car
☑️ One or more plastic bags to put wet clothes and shoes
